Enjoy a summer full of stories with Summer Reading Club at Lindenhurst Library! There is a reading club for every age.

There are four different clubs to choose from:

Birth – Pre-Kindergarten Club: Little ones aged from birth through not yet entering Kindergarten
Children’s Club: Grades Kindergarten through 5th grade
Teen Club: Grades 6th through 12th
Adult Club: Readers 18+

Birth – Pre-Kindergarten Club

This program is designed for children from birth through not yet in Kindergarten. Just read 25 books over the course of the summer to finish the program and earn a prize. Caretakers can read alongside their child, as well as read the same book multiple times, to earn badges.

Children’s Club

Read 5 minutes a day for 8 weeks to complete the program and earn a prize. You will also earn digital raffle tickets for every book and activity you complete towards our Grand Prize Raffle.

Teen Club

Teens can log books they read, write reviews, and complete missions to earn tickets. Complete 3 activities or read 3 books to complete the program.

Adult Club

Adults can log books they read, write reviews, and complete missions to earn tickets. Every two weeks we will hold a drawing for gift cards to local Lindenhurst businesses and we will have a Grand Prize Raffle at the end of the summer.

How To Register

If you registered for the 2021 Summer Reading Club, you should still be able to log into your account. From there you can enroll in the 2022 Summer Reading Club. If you have any questions about your log in, you may request a password reset or contact the library for support.
