Andrea Malchiodi

Youth Services Librarian

Hi! I’m Ms. Andrea and I am the Head of Youth Services. I absolutely adore animals, especially my love Sibble. I also love working with children of all ages and their parents at the library. I have three daughters of my own, ages 17, 14 & 10. I read a lot of mystery books, but also thoroughly enjoy a good humorous book.

Cheryl Mattiolo

Youth Services Librarian

Hello everyone! My name is Cheryl and I am a Children’s Librarian. I run programs for children ages birth-5th grade, but my favorite programs are arts & crafts, food, and STEAM.  I order all of the easy readers and some non fiction for the Children’s Department.  I hope the next time you are able to come to the library, you will stop at the Children’s Reference Desk to say hello.  I will help you find books and answer all your questions.

Jeanna Matias

Youth Services Librarian

Hi, It’s Ms. Jeanna! I’m an early literacy librarian at Lindenhurst Memorial Library. You may already know me from my story times or from the Children’s Reference desk. If you haven’t met me yet, I hope to meet you and your little one soon!

My absolute favorite part of working at the library is doing circle times and story times for the babies and preschoolers of the Lindenhurst community. Whether we are singing songs, dancing, reading books, making crafts, or just playing, these kids are a real joy to work with.

Jessica DeCarlo

Hi All!

This is Ms. Jessica and I’m one of the Children’s Librarians here at the library.  I’m an avid reader of youth Sci-Fi\ Fantasy books and love all things Star Wars, Star Trek, and Firefly.

I love to create, imagine, listen to music, get outside, and read with my daughter. I’m a little silly, a little crazy, and a whole lot of fun!

If I’m not at the Children’s Reference desk, I can usually be found amongst the books looking for OUR next favorite read.  I can’t wait to see you all and look forward to sharing our favorites together.
